The undersigned hereby applies for membership in the American Apparel Shippers Association, INC. (AISA).
Confidentiality: The Applicant agrees that as a condition of membership in AISA all information provided to it by AISA either as proposals under discussion in negotiations with ocean carriers, or as final contract rates and terms shall be considered confidential and shall not be disclosed by the Applicant to any company, or group, or persons not employed by the applicant.
Commitments to Ship with AISA: The traffic/volume information provided by the Applicant herein shall be kept strictly confidential by AISA, and does not represent a binding commitment by the Applicant to ship under AISA service contracts. Final and binding commitments will be made only if and when the Applicant/Member executes AISA S.C. Participation Agreements.
Fees: Applicant agrees to pay a nominal service fees for each 40ft-unit-equivalent container unit (FEU) moving under AISA service contracts. AISA's service fees depend on the member's volume commitment to AISA.
